Design and Design/Plan Implementation
Hort Tech Landscape Construction is a small design/build subsidiary company specializing in custom residential and light commercial work. We can generate our own landscape plans based on feedback obtained from client meetings or simply bid on plans drawn by a landscape architect hired by the client.
We are highly experienced in remodel work and often upgrade old landscapes to present day design standards. We can also design with water conservation in mind if your goal is to reduce water consumption and/or maintenance costs.
We also install residential golf greens and other artificial turf applications using the product leader, Golf Greens "Fore" U.
Maintenance
Consistent with the motto, "Do it Right the First Time," we are rarely the lowest bidder. Our maintenance contracts are with the most prestigious communities in the Coachella Valley. We prefer to work with accounts who are interested in making a property look better, not just maintaining it as it is.
We provide maintenance for many individual residences and small businesses, however the majority of business is with gated communities, country clubs, and homeowner associations. Doing work for associations requires that we maintain business licenses including construction license, chemical distribution license, arborist certifications, workmans comp and liability insurance. We also comply with INS and tax withholding laws associated with all parts of our business for all employees of Hort Tech, Inc.. These various items serve to protect homeowner association boards of directors and property owners.
For both associations and individual residences the following is a partial list of maintenance services:
| Turf: planting, mowing, fertilizing, weed control, insect and other pest control, irrigation, and seasonal turf renovation |

| Trees: certified arborists to guide planting, trimming, removal, feeding, and pest control |

| Palms: planting, pruning, fruit removal, removal, and feeding |

| Transplanting: from the largest tree to the smallest flower |

| Annual color: the planting of annual flowers is done twice a year in this climate, generally in October and in May; we select or work with you to select appropriate material, condition the soil, plant, feed, and "dead head" (removal of dead flowers) as the species requires |

| Perennials: plant, feed and prune per specification (formal or with a more natural look) |
|
|
| Irrigation: install and maintain simple and the most complicated irrigation systems to include maxi systems that are centrally controlled by a computer for maximum water efficiencies |

|
| Clean-up: a good job is otherwise totally ruined by improper clean-up; we emphasize this with every job. |
